ABSTRACT

Objective:To investigate the Effect of Pine muscle nursing training and external application of loose tendon ointment on muscle strength and muscle tension in patients with disused knee joint contracture.Method:From August 2018 to June 2019, 80 subjects were selected in the hospital, divided into three groups using the random number table method, and arranged in different wards. The routine rehabilitation group performs routine hospital rehabilitation (good limb placement, massage, active and passive exercise training), routine rehabilitation + pine muscle nursing training group is to implement rehabilitation nursing training on the basis of conventional rehabilitation treatment in hospital (relaxation training, hand micro-vibration therapy, pasteurization training), routine rehabilitation + pine muscle nursing training + medication group is based on the conventional rehabilitation treatment and pine muscle nursing training of hospitals to implement external application of loose tendon ointment. After 8 weeks of intervention, the muscle strength of the affected quadriceps (knee extensor) and the biceps femoris (Knee flexor) were compared. Results:Before the intervention, the patients in the three groups all experienced a decrease in the strength of the affected quadriceps muscle, and the flexion contracture of the knee joint caused by the hypertonic biceps muscle tension (minimum value ≥5uV) ( P>0.05). After 8 weeks of intervention, the muscular tone of the affected biceps femoris in the three groups was decreased ( F=10.623, P<0.001), and the muscle strength of the quadriceps femoris was increased ( F=10.888, P<0.001).The pairwise comparison results showed that compared with the conventional rehabilitation group, the difference between the conventional rehabilitation + pine muscle nursing training group was significant ( P<0.05), and the difference between the conventional rehabilitation + pine muscle nursing training + medication group was significant ( P<0.001). Compared with the routine rehabilitation + pine muscle training group, the difference between the conventional rehabilitation group and the routine rehabilitation + pine muscle nursing training + medication group was significant (both P<0.05). Conclusion:Patients with disused knee flexion contracture treated with Pine muscle nursing training combined with external application of loose tendon ointment can loosen the contraction and stiffness of the joint tissue, significantly reduce the muscle tension of the flexor knee muscle, increase the strength of the extensor knee muscle, restore and improve The rhythmic contraction and relaxation ability of the flexion and extension knee muscles makes their muscle strength/muscle tension ratio tend to balance, enhance the coordination control ability between muscle groups, and effectively reduce the degree of knee flexion contracture.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the prevalence and influencing factors of chronic musculoskeletal injury (CMI) among nursing staff of old-age welfare in Urumqi city, to find out the awareness and implementation of preventive measures for chronic musculoskeletal injury, and the demand on new life support technology. Methods This study looked after chronic musculoskeletal injury situation questionnaire, in April 2015 form 1st to 30th in urumqi 8 nursing work of old-age nursing staff to carry out the questionnaire. Results A total of the 200 old-age nursing staff, the effective response rate of 183 (91.5%). Old-age nursing researchers report in the past week have the CMI hair author 169 people (92.3%). Occurrence of CMI in gender, educational background, whether on the thought of leaving post was statistically different (χ2=8.36,16.14,14.05,P<0.05). Higher occurrence of CMI was found in the nursing process of showering and washing hair [81.4%(149/183)], transition between wheelchair and bed [63.9%(117/183)], and changing body position in bed [61.2%(112/183)]. The most common site of CMI occurrence were namely back [84.7%(155/183)], shoulder [54.1%(99/183)], lower limbs [35.0%(64/183)]and upper limbs [30.1%(55/183)].Only 31 (16.9%) knew new life support technology which can prevent and reduce CMI. 178(97.3%) reported having needs to use new life support technology, and 179 (97.8%) were willing to participate in relevant technology. Conclusions Prevalence of CMI among nursing staff of old-age welfare in Urumqi region was high. It was related to many factors. Most of nursing staff have needs on life support techniques. Measures should be taken to prevent and reduce the occurrence of CMI among nursing staff of old-age welfare to improve work efficiency.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the micro vibration with the hand nursing methods for disuse syndrome patients constipation curative effect. Methods During the time of March 2016 to September, 76 patients who had long term disuse syndrome with the constipation in two Elderly Care Homes in Urumqi were randomly divided into intervention group (n=37) and control group (n=39), in the experimental group, was treated by manual micro vibration nursing method which included hand micro vibration therapy, exercise therapy, health education guidance once a day, 50 minutes each time, a total of 4 weeks of intervention, while the control group received routine rehabilitation nursing. Before the intervention, intervention after 4 weeks, follow-up period after the end of 8 weeks according to the symptoms of constipation and evaluate the stool frequency. Results Preliminary experimental group and control group patients have different degrees of constipation symptoms, with the hand micro vibration method of nursing intervention, the experimental group had not constipation of symptoms, 17(43.6%) had constipation symptoms in the control group. Compared with the incidence of two groups of constipation patients. Before the intervention, intervention after 4 weeks, follow-up period after the end of 8 weeks, the experimental group patients defecation frequency was (5.33 ± 1.47), (29.70 ± 6.49) , (43.41 ± 6.15)times, The control group patients was(5.77 ± 1.39), (13.10 ± 1.27), (21.15 ± 4.23) time, comparison of the two groups, t=-1.357, 15.275, 18.458, P=0.179, 0.000, 0.000. Conclusions Hand micro vibration nursing method has remarkable effect on relieving constipation, and the treatment effect can be maintained for a long time, no recurrence occurred and adverse reactions, however, this method also economic, convenient, less time consuming and efficient.
